16th- Bud & Roo’s Spectacular Adventures- The Beach arrives by courier.
17th- Bud & Roo is sold in Raindrops on Roses retail shop.
31st- Bud & Roo is now sold online digitally and in print! It’s on Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and worldwide.
January 2013
11th- Suzy ‘super saleswoman’ continues to get Bud & Roo in local shops on foot.
Bud & Roo appear on WHSmith’s website. In stores now!
13th- Suzy & I have started the fundraising incentive to enable schools to raise money for supplies & extra stuff.
14th- Suzy sells Bud & Roo’s Spectacular Adventures- The Beach to her local playgroup, Tiny Tots!
16th- Suzy get’s our book into Threads in Harpenden!
25th- We find out that we are going to have our picture in the Hertfordshire Advertiser. Suzy & I are going to get our picture taken on the Gorhambury Estate somewhere which is the inspiration of our first book. We also find out that we have a book launch party date which is March 9th @ St. Albans Waterstones, 11am.
February 2013
7th- Suzy & I are in the Hertfordshire Advertiser with Bud & Roo. We’ve got our hardcopy displayed.
28th- Suzy & I get Bud & Roo in at The Courtyard Cafe in St. Albans!
We re-order from our local London printers 400 more books of Bud & Roo- let’s keep it going!
We make a guest appearance on 92.6FM Radio Verulam’s The Parents’ Show to discuss book launch & Bud and Roo.
March 2013
7th- We continue to hand out flyers in St. Albans City Centre to promote our book launch.
We treat ourselves to a nice celebratory lunch with cervesas with our little ones (and Bud, too) at the Snug. Thank you!
9th- We host a book launch & beach party at Waterstones in St. Albans. We sold 73 copies which was an amazing feat!
13th- Suzy and I meet to sort out our invoices. Finally!
We apply to Kickstarter fund raising for our next project, The Circus. I heard about this from the winner of The St. Albans Film Festival short films. Thank you!
20th- Suzy and I sell 7 copies for the St. Michaels COE book sale. £14 goes towards the PTA.
22nd- The Inn at the Park fund raiser for the Downs Syndrome Association.

6th- The Circus is written.
15th- Herfordshire University talk about marketing creative media.

An article by Gary Brown Canton, Ohio Repository about author Jessica Valentine. Canton, Ohio is Jessica Valentine’s hometown.
27th- I entered the ‘boardroom’ and discovered that SEO genius Gabriel Homer is going to help me build my blogging community. He has taught me a few things about writing blogs. I am going to meet with him once a month so that I could keep on track!

11th- Suzy and I sold a few copies to the Maple Primary School PTA in support of their marvelous school! We had a great time despite the weather!
